With our attention ever divided by technology, and the chaos of life relentlessly pulling our focus toward the next thing, it’s no wonder we are rarely fully awake to the ordinary moments we inhabit. When we stop to notice the smile on an old friend in the middle of a laugh, or the way the sun paints the sky as it sets, we are present. And it is in that moment of awareness we can find what’s important, we can find fulfillment.
